The combination of the WRR850 and the WRT860A is one of the best sounding, most reliable radio microphone systems available. The WRT860A radio mic lavallier transmitter has 20mW power output which is twice as much as most other systems, and comes in a robust metal case together with a leather pouch and weighs only 160g. The WRR850 radio mic receiver has two separate receiver modules with a large LCD screen and two-character LED for channel identification. There is also headphone monitoring of either or both channels from the front panel.
The system requires licensing for UK use which mm productions will arrange. The current charge is £92.00 per UHF channel for a years site license. For long term hires, we will discount this charge from the hire price.
A maximum of 20 channels can be used simultaneously (where location permits) using both Ch61 and 62. It is also possible to use Ch69 radio mics such as the Sony Freedom system alongside the WRR850 radio mics.
For multi-channel use, the WD-820A Distribution Amplifier and AN-820A aerials should be used.
