SPEAKERS and AMPLIFIERS
Which amplifier should I use?

Try and use an amp that gives double the manufacturers rating (our specs take this into account). The reasoning behind this is that if you have to 'push' the amplifier to get more level by turning up the signal going into it, you may force the amp into sending a distorted or 'clipped' signal to the speaker. This 'clipped' signal can contain damaging high frequncies components that will quickly destroy the high frequency driver. It is always better to run an amp at 50% so that it runs comfortably than have to push it to 100%, especially as most audio signals have occasional peaks that have considerably more energy than the average which may be so quick that they don't register on your meters.
